KISUMU, 19TH FEBRUARY 2018: Kisumu Senator Fred Outa has asked governor Anyang Nyong’o to be way of politicians who want to destabilize his administration by creating rifts between him and other elected leaders in the county.
Speaking just two days after he was ejected by rowdy from the governor's home - coming party, Outa says that he campaigned together with Nyong'o and it's important that the team remains united in order to deliver their dreams for residents of Kisumu.
"We campaigned as one secretariat and we had the same vision, now that we are here do not try to separate us."
He says he is deeply concerned with the persistent witch-hunt by a section of elected leaders aimed at creating a rift between them. Outa and Kisumu Central MP were forcefully ejected from a public rally at Jommo Kenyatta grounds with the youths accusing them of undermining the governor.
The senator also appealed to religious leaders from the county to pray for smooth operations and efficient service delivery within Kisumu.
The absence of Prof.Nyong’o in the past 60 days has seen the county experience high voltage politics with leaders accusing each of trying to undermine the governor.
