NAKURU, 12TH APRIL 2018: Just what is NASA leader Raila Odinga up to? That seems to be the question on many people's lips after he made yet another surprise move by visiting former president Daniel arap Moi's Kabarak home.
Moi is still very influential when it comes to rift valley politics but it's still not clear whether the agenda of the meeting between him and Raila has anything to do with the 2022 succession politics.
KANU through their official Twitter handle tweeted about the meeting but did divulge the agenda. Also present at the meeting were Moi's sons Gideon who is also the Baringo Senator and a 2022 Presidential hopeful and Raymond Moi.

The meeting comes just over a month after the historic handshake between Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta at Harambee House.
Mr. Odinga has also in the recent past had meetings with leaders allied to Jubilee including former harsh critics like Gatundu South legislator Moses Kuruia.
Early this week Mr. Odinga held meetings with former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo who is also a harsh critic of Deputy President William Ruto. That meeting read together with today's visit to former President Moi's home could just be an indication of what to expect as the 2022 succession politics shifts gears to a faster pace.
A statement from Raila Odinga's press unit however said that the meeting had nothing to do with the political speculations.
"The visit followed recent hospitalization of the former president in Israel. Mr Odinga was visiting to wish him well," said Dennis Onyango in a statement sent to press.
Mr. Onyango also added that the also discussed "the state of the Kenyan nation in the visit that lasted more than one hour."
