NAIROBI, 28TH MARCH 2018: Justice George Odunga on Wednesday ordered that self-proclaimed NRM General Dr. Miguna Miguna be brought to court as ordered by Justice Roselyne Aburili on Tuesday.

Odunga wants Miguna to be brought to court at 2.30 PM. He has also ordered that the CS Interior Fred Matiangi, Police IG Joseph Boinet, and acting Immigration Director Joseph Munywoki to also appear before him in person at 2.30 PM.

"I order that Miguna be brought to court at 2.30 PM. I also order that the respondents; CS Interior, Inspector General of police and the acting director of immigration Joseph Munywoki appear in court in person this afternoon."

He said he will not accept representatives or sworn  affidavits in place of appearance by the said individuals.

Justice Odunga said he will issue further directives should the said state officers fail to honor the court summons.

Miguna was expected to be produced in court at 9 am but the immigration and security officials failed to produce him as had earlier been ordered. He continues to be detained at JKIA.
